You don't always need to evict to sell to us. We buy houses with tenants in place — we've done it many times, including cash-for-keys when that works better for everyone.
We can talk through the house and tenancy together: who lives there, what the lease says, how access works, what repairs need attention, and whether a tenant move-out discussion may work better for everyone.
Is the lease hard to work around, is access difficult to arrange, or do repairs need attention? Tell us what is happening with the tenancy and the house. You can call before every detail is sorted out.

A sale generally leaves the lease in place, and the buyer generally takes over as landlord. A lease longer than three years must be recorded with the Register of Deeds to bind the buyer.
North Carolina's Tenant Security Deposit Act covers the deposit. Within 30 days after the sale, the seller must either transfer the deposit, minus lawful deductions, to the buyer and mail the tenant the buyer's name and address, or return the deposit, minus lawful deductions, to the tenant. Either step relieves the seller of further responsibility for that deposit.
If a tenancy has no set end date, notice depends on the rent period: week-to-week requires at least two days before the end of the week; month-to-month requires at least seven days before the end of the month; year-to-year requires one month or more before the end of the year; and a rented manufactured-home space requires 60 days. The lease may require more notice.
To remove a tenant, you must use the court process.

Within 30 days after the sale, North Carolina law requires the seller either to transfer the deposit, minus lawful deductions, to the buyer and mail the tenant the buyer’s name and address, or to return the deposit, minus lawful deductions, to the tenant. Either step ends the seller’s further responsibility for the deposit.
