If the house is part of an estate
In an unsupervised Indiana estate, the court-appointed personal representative — the person handling the estate — can generally sell estate property without a separate sale order. A will can also give the representative power to sell. If neither applies, a court order may be needed. We can talk through the appointment papers, will, deed, and any court restrictions with you. If you need an estate attorney, we can help you find one. Not sure? Call us — we'll sort it out with you.
