If the house is part of an estate
In an Indiana estate that isn't under ongoing court supervision, the court-appointed personal representative — the person named to handle the estate — can generally sell estate property without a separate sale order. A will can also give that person power to sell. If neither applies, a court order may be needed. We'll talk through the will and appointment papers with you and work with the title company on who can sign. If you need an estate attorney, we can help you find one.
